What we must consider is whether, day by day, we keep our lamps supplied with oil. If we do, even though we do not know when the heavenly Bridegroom will come, we do know that we are prepared. on the other hand, when one's life has been lukewarm, when one does not live a very fervent life, there is little one can do. But our entire life will be examines. When we go for judgement, God will not examine just the last day, the last hours, the last week. He will examine our whole life!
